Verified tutors across Pakistan

Home tutors who come to you

A home tutor in Pakistan typically costs PKR 7,000–24,000 a month depending on the class and number of subjects, and PKR 15,000–38,000 per subject for O and A Level. Al Noor Tuition matches families with background-checked home tutors in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, usually within 24–48 hours, and the first lesson is free.

There is still nothing quite like a teacher sitting at the same table as your child. No connection to drop, no screen to hide behind, and a tutor who can see immediately when a student has stopped following.

We match families with home tutors whose identity, qualifications and teaching experience we have checked ourselves — not a directory of unverified names and phone numbers.

What a good home tutor actually does

The difference between a tutor who helps and a tutor who simply attends is diagnosis. A good one spends the first two sessions finding out exactly where the gaps are, then teaches to those gaps rather than re-reading the textbook from chapter one.

  • Finds the specific topics costing marks, instead of covering everything equally
  • Sets and marks work between sessions, so progress is measurable
  • Prepares to the actual board or exam board your child sits
  • Tells you honestly when something is not working

How the matching works

Tell us the class, the subjects, your area and when you want lessons. We shortlist tutors who genuinely teach that syllabus at that level and live close enough to be reliable in the long run — a brilliant tutor an hour away cancels eventually.

You meet your tutor in a free trial lesson before any money changes hands. If the fit is wrong, we rematch you at no cost. Style mismatches are common and easy to fix; they are not a reason to give up on tuition.

What it costs

Fees depend on the class, how many subjects, how many sessions a week and where you are. Primary is usually PKR 7,000–12,000 a month; Matric PKR 11,000–19,000; and O/A Level is quoted per subject. Our pricing page has an estimator that narrows it to your own situation in four questions.

There is no registration fee, no platform charge, and nothing is payable before the free trial lesson.

Included as standard

What you get with Al Noor online tuition

Six things included with every online student, at no extra cost.

Live one-to-one classes

Real lessons with a real teacher at a fixed time — whiteboard, screen sharing and your child asking questions out loud, not a recorded video they watch alone.

Free recordings to revisit

Ask and we record your classes free of charge, so a missed lesson is not a lost lesson, and revision before a test means rewatching the explanation that worked the first time.

Recording is on by default and can be turned off on request.

Progress reports you can actually read

Attendance, topics covered, test scores and the teacher’s own notes — so you know how it is going without having to ask every week.

A proper testing system

Timed online papers built from a bank of thousands of syllabus questions, marked automatically, with worked explanations for every answer.

Weak-area improvement plan

Test results are grouped by topic, so "he is weak in Chemistry" becomes "he is losing marks on mole calculations" — and the next few lessons target exactly that.

Home Tutor — your questions answered

How much does a home tutor charge per month in Pakistan?

Most families pay PKR 7,000–12,000 for primary, PKR 11,000–19,000 for Matric, PKR 14,000–24,000 for FSc, and PKR 15,000–38,000 per subject for O/A Level. Fees vary with the tutor’s experience, the number of sessions a week and your city.

Are your home tutors verified?

Yes. We check identity documents, qualifications and teaching experience before a tutor is listed, and we act on parent feedback afterwards. Verified tutors carry a badge on their profile.

How quickly can a home tutor start?

Usually within 24–48 hours in the major cities. Specialist subjects at A Level can take a few days longer because the pool of genuine specialists is smaller.

Can I change the tutor if it is not working?

Yes, at no extra cost. Tell us what is not working and we will rematch you — most often it is teaching style rather than ability.

What is the difference between home tutoring and online tuition?

Home tutoring means the teacher travels to your house and teaches in person, which suits younger children, families who want a parent nearby, and any child who works better with someone physically next to them. Online tuition is the same teaching over video, costs a little less because nobody is travelling, gives you a much wider choice of specialist, and is usually the better option for O and A Level subjects where the right subject specialist matters more than the room. Many families use both: home tutoring for a younger child and online for an exam subject.

Do you offer female home tutors?

Yes. Many families prefer a female tutor, particularly for girls and for younger children, and you can filter for this when you request a tutor.
