Likestilling — equality between women and men — is an important value in Norway, and it is protected by law. Most women and men work, and both parents have weeks of parental leave set aside for them. Most children start barnehage when they are one or two. At home, many couples share the housework and looking after the children.

A model answer

Say: yehmmuh hoos os dehluhr vee poh hoosarbaiduh. yai laguhr mat, oh mannuhn meen vaskuhr oh hannluhr. ee pakistan var deh annarlehduhs da yai vokstuh op, for dehr yooruh mamma nehstuhn alt. yai suenuhs deh ehr buhdreh oh dehluh, fordee da har buhgeh tee teel yob oh fameeleeuh. Means: At our home we share the housework.
